An art and culture magazine that pushes to help create a conscious rEvolution and help the Earth transition into a Knew Age of Light and prosperity.
Our mission statement:
“The festival community is at the cutting edge of a global cultural renaissance that is rooted in the social and artistic movements of the 1960’s. Knew rEvolution is a physical magazine to hold space outside of the peak experience of the festival. It covers the spiritual, health and art practices of the scene that can be missed at the festival when all the pretty lights and highs are blurred into a few days. The goal is to maintain and cultivate the scene into a more socially aware empowered community even in the default world.”Letter from the Editor:Greetings brothers and sisters! It is high time for a Knew rEvolution. Sixteen years into the 21st century, it is becoming increasingly clear that human beings all across the Earth are experiencing a gravitation toward gathering together in celebration, creation and wonder. While some music and arts festivals are more commercial as ever, the amount of independent, co-creative gatherings popping up in what seems like every plot of land available is increasing exponentially. As transparency cracks open all of the systems of our world and knowledge becomes more readily available to everyone, WE the people of TODAY are thirsty for purpose, meaning and understanding. Growing up within this new festival era has compelled some to permanently live on festival tour, opting out of society at large. It has left the rest of us wondering how we can translate the enlightening moments found within the unadulterated freedom of these spaces to the whole of our day to day lives. “Transformational Festival Culture” has become a true socio-cultural phenomenon, where attendees bring their passions and their professions with them to help co-create the event. Knew rEvolution is inspired by this shift in festival culture and is determined to exist as an editorial space which encourages the further development of rEvolutions in thought, in music, in art, in infrastructure, in synergy, in healing and inside each of us.Within the pages of this magazine, the reader will encounter featured artwork by visual artists who are devoted to transformation and whose images evoke the beauty and diversity of the culture. Throughout history, poetry has acted as an integral medium for progressive ideas and beliefs. Knew rEvolution believes in this power and we feature poetry and prose written by poets documenting our world. Medicinal culture, yoga, community empowerment initiatives, spiritual growth, and festival hacks will also be a part of each issue. Finally, we offer a look inside the lives and minds of some of the elders and leaders representing visual art, festival production, and personal growth with our community. There is love, beauty and truth at the heart of the Knew rEvolution. We are excited and honored to do our part to initiate a better future where all of those who experience this culture can discover sustainable means to support it throughout our lives.Be aware. Third Eye Stare. Never Fear.

Permaculture Action Network-12744466_574220876060774_8156337768496963109_n

What is the Permaculture Action Network?Permaculture Action Network empowers people to take action to create the world they want to see by connecting educators, creators, and organizers with broad and diverse audiences to build a regenerative and just world. From organizing Permaculture Action Days and events to building educational spaces and hosting courses, Permaculture Action Network is committed to pushing community and environmental sustainability to the center of society’s cultural narrative.

Who We Are and What We’ve Done

In the Fall of 2014, we launched Pushing Through The Pavement: A Permaculture Action Tour, with The Polish Ambassador, Ayla Nereo and Mr. Lif. During the tour, we brought local organizations on stage and inspired hundreds of people to participate in Permaculture Action Days after every single show in over 32 cities across the country. We planted public food forests, built community gardens, and competed a diversity of other projects that connected us to urban farms, ecological common spaces, and most importantly, one another, mobilizing up to 400 people at a time.

The tour was such a success, we went on to organize a dozen more Permaculture Action Days before festivals and after shows in major cities, coordinate Permaculture Action Hubs (educational spaces within larger events), and teach three Permaculture Action Courses on ecological design, community organizing, and social change.

Unified Magik * Arts & Entertainment

Birthing with seeds of youthful love for music, community, and the arts,
our founder started creating events in 2002 in Mankato, MN.
Soon after, she started working with other neighboringg cities and states to bring together talent from every spectrum. In the following years our founder has been blessed with many learning opportunities on the road,
assisting multiple acts with booking, performing, staging, and management. In 2006 our founder paired up with Christy Steinbach and they shortly after met and merged together with
Matt Mueller (RIP) as he took ownership of Pachyderm Studios in Cannon Falls, MN.
About a year later they created Full Moon Productions. In 2007, our founder teamed up with Chris Vdakes and helped with the first Bella Familia Production, Festi De Bella Luna at Harmony Park, in Geneva, MN.In 2011 the company moved to Denver, Colorado expanding to a new community and adding in a new network. This move opened doors to new relationships with other promoters, agencies, venues, and artists of all trades. We immediately grew very fond of the music scene in Colorado!
Our focus is to continue working and growing with as many groups and organizations as possible, personally and professionally.

UMAE has and continues to stand by the same vision,
Urge the community (our communities) to work together and reach new heights.
Pushing for unimaginable collaborations and accommodating the best interest of everyone involved. Focusing on not only what the fans want to see and remember but what the artists need and want as well.
Continuing to travel where the heart and sounds take us, creating new friends and networks along the way, we grow individually… and together, creating Unified Magik.
